Health, Hygiene And Mental Wellbeing

RAWS has signed MoU with Sukhibhava (Bangalore based social development organization) for a pilot outreach project Hello Saheli based on Menstruation Hygiene and Sexual & Reproductive Health for Women and girls. Hello Saheli is a Free Tele-Gynecology Services in which our Helpline Assistants are able to connect callers to an accredited healthcare professional and facilitate a tele-health consultation to address clinical health concerns. Agadhbodh Foundation joined hands with the above mentioned organizations to reach the target audience.

Health, Hygiene and Mental Wellbeing

Covid 19 outbreak undoubtedly affected the physical health of people but it also took a toll on people’s mental health. Loss of job, shortage of money, loss of near and dear ones affected people badly. Realizing the problem, Agadhbodh Foundation organized various mental health sessions in government schools and colleges of Jharkhand. Our volunteers tried to bust the myth surrounding mental health, taught them techniques to manage stress, anxiety and depression, and suicidal impulses. We identified people who were in need of clinical aid and sought help from the efficient psychiatrists and counselors of RINPAS and CIP free of cost.
