The Drishti initiative, led by the Agadhbodh Foundation, is a flagship healthcare program focused on providing free eye screenings and corrective eyewear to underprivileged students. Recognizing the impact of digital screens and poor dietary patterns on vision, the initiative aims to eliminate visual barriers to education.

Core Impact and Reach

  • Widespread Screening:The program has reached over 21000 students across government schools and colleges.
  • Corrective Support:Approximately 2000 free eyeglasses have been distributed to students in need [Self-sourced].
  • Geographic Expansion:Originally focused on Ranchi, Silli, and Patratu in Jharkhand and the initiative recently expanded to Raipur, Chhattisgarh, conducting camps in roughly 50 government schools .

  • PVUNL (NTPC-CSR):Collaborated to screen 2,500 students in Patratu, providing 500 free glasses.
