The horrors COVID 19 pandemic is not unknown to anyone. Amidst rising infections, loss of job, lockdown, deaths in family, the underpriviledged faced the worst brunt. Agadhbodh Foundation with Mission Badlao extended their support and distributed ration and other essential things to disadvantaged people of Gumla, Ranchi , West Singhbhum and Simdega. We worked hard to mobilize the fund and received help from many generous souls. Our team members educated people of the remotest areas about the need to maintain personal hygiene amidst rising infections and taught them corona appropriate behavior. We also distributed free hand sanitizers and face masks and taught them the basics of self isolation in case they catch infection. With the kind help of local NGOs, TISS alumni network, and volunteers we brought back around 12000 migrant labourers and their families of Jharkhand stuck at different parts of India due to sudden lockdown.
