SUMMARY:DRISHTI’( a free eye screening of underprivileged students) Initiative
DESCRIPTION:Today’s lifestyle\, dietry patterns\, constant exposure to computer\, mobile and TV screens  have taken a toll on people’s eye health. Agadhbodh Foundation recognized this rampant issue and in collaboration with Vision Spring\, the Foundation organized free eye check up camp for government school and college students of Ranchi\, Silli\, and Patratu. In the pilot phase of the programme\, 5000 students got their eye checked and around 1500 were in need of glasses\, which was provided free of cost. \nDRISHTI’ Initiative\n\n\n\nThe Foundation has collaborated with PVUNL (NTPC- CSR) and conducted free eye check up of 2500 government school students of Patratu\, out of which 500 received free eyeglasses. \nRanchi Women’s College joined the initiative and the Foundation extended its helping hands to 500 students at Ranchi Women’s College out of which 125 received free eyeglasses. \nMoreover\, PREJHA Foundation gave us the opportunity to conduct eye check up camp at ITI Kaushal College\, Ranchi where 150 students benefitted from the initiative and 25 received free eyeglasses. \nThis is just the beginning\, and Agadhbodh Foundation is looking for more such collaborations in future and is ready to expand the ‘DRISHTI’ initiative to a much larger level. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n

SUMMARY:Health\, Hygiene and Mental Wellbeing
DESCRIPTION:RAWS has signed MoU with Sukhibhava (Bangalore based social development organization) for a pilot outreach project Hello Saheli based on Menstruation Hygiene and Sexual & Reproductive Health for Women and girls. Hello Saheli is a Free Tele-Gynecology Services in which our Helpline Assistants are able to connect callers to an accredited healthcare professional and facilitate a tele-health consultation to address clinical health concerns. Agadhbodh Foundation joined hands with the above mentioned organizations to reach the target audience. \nHealth\, Hygiene and Mental Wellbeing \nCovid 19 outbreak undoubtedly affected the physical health of people but it also took a toll on people’s mental health. Loss of job\, shortage of money\, loss of near and dear ones affected people badly. Realizing the problem\, Agadhbodh Foundation organized various mental health sessions in government schools and colleges of Jharkhand. Our volunteers tried to bust the myth surrounding mental health\, taught them techniques to manage stress\, anxiety and depression\, and suicidal impulses. We identified people who were in need of clinical aid and sought help from the efficient psychiatrists and counselors of RINPAS and CIP free of cost. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
